THE HAWAII OPEN IS RETURNING TO HOLUA THIS JANUARY!

This January, the Hawaii Open will return after a four-year hiatus to Holua Racquet & Paddle!  The tournament itself will take place over four days - from Wednesday, January 24 through Saturday, January 27, 2024.  Sunday, January 28 will be used as a make up date in case of bad weather.  In an effort to help the tournament run as smoothly as possible, our Hui has offered to register volunteers to help during the tournament.  Volunteers can choose one or multiple dates to help in several areas.  Click HERE to sign up to volunteer for this upcoming event.  The Big Island Rogue Pickleball Hui is proud to partner with Holua Racquet & Paddle, and this is another chance to show how much we value that partnership!

DINK IN PINK IS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Last weekend, Holua Racquet & Paddle held its first annual Dink in Pink tournament.  Women's and men's doubles took place on Saturday and mixed doubles rounded things out on Sunday.  Most importantly all proceeds went to Breast Cancer Hawaii.  Thanks to everyone who participated in this exciting event!

24-4-23 ROUND ROBIN RAISES OVER $33,500 FOR MAUI RELIEF!

On Saturday, September 9, our 24-4-23 tournament was played, with the first game starting at 9:15 am and the last game finishing at 7:30 pm.  We had two rain delays, but nothing stopped every scheduled game from being completed.  Amazingly 22 of the 24 starting participants played all 23 games - a number that was far beyond our expectations.  That was the second number that was underestimated on Saturday - the first being the total of $33,656 raised for Maui relief charities.  (This number is current as of Sunday night - the announced number Saturday morning was $31,806.)  We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our sponsors and all of the fundraising efforts of our players.  Thanks to ALL of you, and a HUGE thanks to Richard for letting us use his incredible facility for our tournament!  Click HERE to go to our Maui Fire Relief page.
